Once you have chosen properties that you would like to view, we will arrange a convenient appointment for you which includes out of business hours and weekends. A member of AB Property staff will meet you at the property to show you around.

If you decide to make an offer, AB Property will negotiate on your behalf with our vendors until a successful sale is agreed.

Stamp Duty Land Tax
If you buy a property in the UK over a certain price, you have to pay Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT). This is charged on all purchases of houses, flats and other land and buildings. The SDLT rate depends on the purchase price of the property, whether the property is residential and whether the property is in a disadvantaged area.

For residential properties, with effect from 4th December 2014 SDLT is

No tax on the first £125,000 of the purchase price
2% on the amount up to £250,000
5% on the next £925,000
10% on the next £1,500,000
12% thereafter

Purchase progress
Once your purchase is agreed our service does not end there, our dedicated family team will follow your purchase through until legal completion and key hand over occurs.
